Happy New Year! I can’t believe 2020 will bring us our second little boy! As we prep for Baby Boy #2 to arrive in 2 weeks, I thought I would share Sutton’s Neutral nursery! I absolutely loved his sweet nursery, how calming the simple gray and white tones where. I pulled in a few elements from our childhood, and even some little moccasins from my dad!

Right before we got engaged, my parents went to Europe and brought back some very special Winnie the Pooh prints as well as a very old book. Pooh was one of my favorite things about my childhood and something every special to me, so I tried to incorporate a few of these sweet pieces into his nursery. We also took a trip to Europe (London, St. Andrew, and Edinburgh) while I was pregnant with Sutton and collected sweet Teddy Bears from each city we visited.

I knew early on I wanted to use one of my favorite quotes from Winnie the Pooh: “You are Braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think” – Christopher Robin. I had a vision and Barrett made the board then had my talented friend, Heather Bloem, do the calligraphy! It was the perfect piece to hang over our sweet boy’s crib!
